Meet our teachers

Jenna Michael

Jenna studied violin under the direction of Dr. Gregory Maytan and Megan Crawford at Grand Valley State University (class of 2017). Jenna is deeply inspired by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s teachings and strives to build a better community using music. She teaches violin students to become sensitive, hardworking members of society through the teachings of the Suzuki Method. Jenna works full time teaching private violin lessons, group violin classes, and working as the administrator for Quattro Voce Strings.

Jamie Listh

Jamie Listh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Alma College (class of 2014). Known largely as a violist and private strings teacher near Cedar Springs, she began her study of music on piano and violin at the age of 10. Though proclaiming early on that she would never be cut out to teach, in recent years she has found enormous joy in teaching strings and maintains a small private lesson studio. Jamie has long enjoyed and appreciated the versatility of string instruments and the mix of ensembles and friendships open to her as a result.
