Spring 2025 Violin Recitals

My studio has been very busy! 32 of my students participated in one of two recitals on Saturday, May 10th. This was the first year I’ve tried having two different recitals instead of one giant one. Recitals were much shorter and I was able to group students of similar ages together. Students seemed confident and played beautifully.

There were 18 students at the first recital and 14 at the second recital. Students had family members and friends come to see them perform.

We even had a couple of one student’s sisters join in on the fun! Having cello in our group performance of Song of the Wind really helped round out the sound of the group.

Students practiced really hard before the recital, and we even practiced our bowing so that everyone would look confident and professional on stage.

At my late recital, my group class had the opportunity to perform a piece they wrote on zoom during a snow-day group lesson. The students named it Winston’s World, after my cat!

We celebrated on Monday at our group lesson with pizza and games. This is us playing Twinkle Variation A on our neighbor’s violin!

All of my students are being rewarded with marigolds for a job well done!

My heart is filled with pride, joy, and love! I am so thankful for this studio we’ve built.
